Find it hard to get enough protein in your diet? If you’re a vegetarian or vegan, then you get asked this question a lot: “Where do you get your protein from”. The answer to this is that there are a ton of non-meat and non-dairy sources out there, but there’s a great one that goes with almost everything. . . HEMP SEEDS!

These aren’t just for vegetarians either. A lot of people who eat meat and dairy are still not getting enough good protein. There’s about 10 grams of protein per small serving of hemp seeds and they can be sprinkled on/in:

  • Cereal
  • Oatmeal
  • Salads
  • Mashed potatoes
  • Protein shake
  • Just about anything!

I could stop right there and you’d be running out the door to pick some up, but there’s still a few more benefits for the great hemp seed:

  • They’re completely natural.
  • They’re packed with heart healthy omega 3 and 6 fatty acids.
