Hey all,

It has been a while since I last posted something on my blog. This is mostly because I’ve been working extra hard to get our new fitness studio up and running (which should be ready by the end of the month).

Unfortunately, I think I’ve been working a little too hard because I ended up having the flu for the last 3 days (yuck!). I haven’t felt that sick since I was a kid! It was complete with a fever, chills, weakness, dizziness, tiredness…the works.

Although I usually take good care of myself by eating right, exercising, taking my vitamins and JuicePlus, getting enough sleep, etc, over the past few weeks I got too caught up in work and started neglecting some of those things. It finally caught up with me on Friday and took me down for the entire weekend :(I’m much better now and back on track with my regular routine so I should be 100% in no time.

But, the main reason for this post is not to complain about my weekend, but to share some info from a SELF article I saw this morning about a few daily habits you can do to help keep the colds and flu at bay. I use most of these daily too and they seem to work great:
